The European Protection Order and the ARTEMIS project final conference

Everything you wanted to know about the European Protection Order and were afraid to ask.

On Friday, January 21, 2022, the final conference of the ARTEMIS project took place in Rome, where for two years our lawyers and attorneys have been focusing on the European Protection Order (EPO) as a tool to protect victims of gender-based violence. Our cooperating lawyer, Martina Houžvová, also presented recommendations based on the research and activities of the project that aims to increase the protection of these victims.

The main output of the ARTEMIS project is a manual on the European Protection Order (EPO). The manual provides practical information on the useful protection tool for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence or stalking who decide to move to another EU Member State.

Download the manual for free here.

If you are interested in more details, you can find them in our publications section.

The publication was created within the framework of the ARTEMIS project: Promoting the right of protection of women through the application of the EC Directive 2011/99/EU and the European Protection Order (878592 - ARTEMIS - JUST-AG-2019/JUST-JACC-AG-2019) that is supported by the European Commission under the Justice Programme (2014-2020).
